The Delphi Group is pleased to announce the public release of its ICO2N GHG Alternatives Report. The report was commissioned by the Integrated CO2 Network (ICO2N) and is an update to the original study performed by the Delphi Group in 2007.
The report provides a comparative analysis of a variety of CO2 reduction options, including solar, wind, biofuels, nuclear and CCS, in terms of their reduction potential (volume) and associated costs. It is an analytical attempt to understand how these various CO2 reduction tools compare with each other and the extent to which they could contribute to reducing Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions in the future.
The study is available on our website here: ![]()
In addition to this report, ICO2N is simultaneously releasing a separate study that provides an integrated analysis of what an entire CCS system could look like. A full press release, both reports, and additional information about CCS and ICO2N are available at the ICO2N website: www.ico2n.com.
